With growing global concerns about water scarcity and environmental sustainability, understanding the factors influencing individual conservation behaviors is crucial. This study utilizes Bayesian Mindsponge Framework (BMF) analytics to investigate relationship between of local issues in a sample 1831 residents Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Mexico an arid region which 90% faced severe drought driven by most significant wildfire state history some driest months ever recorded 2022. The results show positive association or concern number adopted. Likewise, population growth development also observed. However, further examination needed due weak reliability this relationship. In contrast, negative associations quality bills with are identified. Based on these findings, discusses potential building eco-surplus culture improving information dissemination water-saving methods existing water-related areas.

Abstract Effective marine conservation requires science‐based decisions and strong support from the public local communities. Understanding potential social influence of scientists nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in is key, yet this aspect has been underexplored science. In study, we created a simple index (PSII) for NGOs, initiating an analytical framework to identify key variables correlated with PSII their underlying pathways. We illustrated using China as case where advancement urgently needed. Our results indicated that many identified were PSII, even though some are rarely mentioned related literature. Notably, both communication capability annual funding positively impacted albeit through different This study provides valuable insights enhance efforts addresses critical research gap assessing on nature conservation.

As climate change continues to pose global challenges, understanding how individuals perceive and respond its effects is crucial for informed policymaking community engagement. Conducting the Bayesian Mindsponge Framework (BMF) analysis on a dataset of 1,831 water users in Albuquerque, New Mexico, study explores intricate dynamics between belief, awareness scarcity, conservation behaviors. Results reveal complex relationship wherein residents with increased scarcity demonstrate intensified behaviors, particularly when believing change's negative impacts supply. The moderating role introduces complexity, suggesting that correlation residents' belief their engagement behaviors depends local challenges. This highlights importance appropriate interventions consider both psychological contextual dimensions promoting sustainable management practices. Policy recommendations emphasize integrated campaigns, developing an eco-surplus mindset, incorporating sustainability principles aligned Sustainable Development Goals
