Abstract Modern agricultural systems face the challenge of balancing high productivity and ecological sustainability. Soil organic carbon (SOC) plays a key role in connecting productive functions apple orchards by acting as bridge between human activities natural processes. This review highlights new research on how SOC can transform landscapes orchards. not only serves reservoir nutrients but also acts central concept to link different aspects systems. Agronomic management practices, such precise handling crop residues, innovative soil amendments, diverse cover cropping systems, have proven effective improving essential ecosystem orchard management. These methods enhance nutrient cycling, promote beneficial microbes, increase resilience farming By viewing interconnected networks that serve multiple purposes, this study moves beyond conventional one‐size‐fits‐all approaches farming. is critical factor delivering services. emphasizes tailored site‐specific practices help achieve balance environmental health. We recommend adopting an integrated approach for focuses continuous learning targeted actions across levels operations.

ABSTRACT The heterojunction based on plasmonic metals of Ag and Cu in the oxide form was synthesized decorated carbon nanotubes to Ag‐Cu 2 O/MWCNTs nanocomposites via a pulsed laser ablation process for water treatment. This study presents synthesis characterization Ag/MWCNTs with different amounts O NPs using novel two‐step technique enhanced photocatalytic degradation Congo Red dye under UV–visible‐light irradiation. Structural optical techniques confirmed successful formation highly pure crystalline nanocomposites, coupling significantly visible‐light absorption, making effective applications, which were systematically evaluated varying pH, catalyst dosage, concentration, irradiation time conditions. results demonstrated that 60 min (30min 30 Ag), O/MWCNTs(2), achieved highest efficiency 99.43% (CR) at pH 8.0 an optimal dosage. Kinetic studies mechanism revealed photodegradation followed Langmuir‐Hinshelwood pseudo‐first‐order model, O/MWCNTs(2) exhibiting fastest rate, outperforming other samples by degrading CR dye. work underscores potential as efficient photocatalysts environmental remediation, particularly organic pollutants wastewater. findings provide valuable insights into optimizing processes practical offering promising solution sustainable treatment pollution control.

Soil moisture is an essential factor in determining the quality of crop production farming areas, particularly a greenhouse. It important to ensure that irrigation greenhouse can provide ample water needed by trees. This study aims assess status soil and map its distribution following supply. samples were collected at forty randomly chosen locations two different intervals before after The content determined gravimetric method laboratory. Two maps developed using data coordinates sample locations. Based on maps, was classified into classes: low moderate about 50% coverage each, while 100% area within high class for irrigation. statistical results demonstrate both are different, with mean increased 8.73%, thus proving systems installed work effectively providing achieve

Abstract Urban lakes confront significant threats due to changes in land use and cover (LULC) resulting from urbanization subsequent climate change. This review discusses the intricate effects of urban heat island phenomenon on lakes, specifically attributed LULC changes. Utilizing Scopus Web Science databases, this study gathers most pertinent earlier research water bodies. systematically categorizes variables into five distinct groups scrutinizes drivers, parameters, tools, management strategies influencing dynamics lakes. A gap is identified understanding conjoined impacts within lake environments. The further investigates diverse ways which intersecting with multiple United Nations sustainable development goals (SDGs), notably SDGs 6, 11, 13, 15. Innovation within a company, sector, or territorial context can arise from identifying specific problems needs. Performance analysis provides valuable insights, potentially highlighting areas where innovation may be necessary. This paper outlines methodology designed to identify latent needs at regional, sectoral, and dimensional levels. is based on critical issues emerging comparing economic, environmental, social sustainability indicators of farms. An iterative approach used for this purpose. Mixed matching algorithms are employed form the comparison groups, while G-computation calculate differences. Logistic regression adopted propensity scores, several generalized linear models estimate impact regional localization. Hypothesis tests then conducted confirm statistical significance impacts, which criticality levels derived. applied data collected by Italian Farm Accountancy Data Network, includes over 64,000 observations two consecutive three-year periods (2016-2018 2019-2021).
