Abstract This stud introduces a pioneering investigation into the geometric optimization of building surroundings to elevate thermal comfort efficiency and foster sustainable development within construction industry. Employing ENVI-met simulation tool novel crow search algorithm, research rigorously quantifies occupants' dissatisfaction utilizing predicted percentage dissatisfied model, meticulously considering various environmental parameters. The simulations are based on weather data Nanjing, China, numerical results were validated against observed data. reveal remarkable 7% reduction in energy consumption corresponding 7.2% decrease CO2 emissions compared baseline configurations, underscoring substantial impact proposed algorithm.
