Climate change and violent conflict are defining challenges of our time.However, it is not yet understood how they interact in shaping human welfare food security, their interaction shapes gendered outcomes, or social protection systems can mitigate impact.To address these knowledge gaps, we first examine household insecurity relates to climate shocks whether associations gender-sensitive.Second, test what mechanisms reduce the negative impacts shocks.Our empirical analysis relies on novel survey data 7,908 rural households collected across 14 states Sudan 2022.Sudan currently faces floods, droughts, affecting agricultural production supply.We find that do significantly affect consumption scores (FCS), while exposure leads a substantial decrease FCS.Both productive nonproductive assets increase FCS for all households, especially female-headed households.Longer distances input output markets correlate with lower FCS, particularly maleheaded households.Women's group membership positively femaleheaded households.However, women receive additional benefits from other networks during exposure, male-headed benefit types networks.Income diversification identified as key strategy improving conflict.Informal cash transfers improve households.In contrast, formal negatively although impact conflict.Overall, recommend targeted programmes gender disparities enhance resilience among vulnerable populations.

Abstract The article reveals the theoretical grounds for concept of “safety” with regard to hotel industry. Based on analysis existing definitions we determined content and offered our generalized interpretation “hotel safety” category. Food security (FS) is an important guarantee for world peace and development the basis building a community of human destiny, which has bearing on sustainable future destiny humankind. This study empirically analysis relationship between socialisation services in whole process agricultural production (ASS) guaranteeing FS, as well path their role, using provincial panel data from 2010 to 2022 China example, double-difference method. This study aims to examine the socio-economic determinants of human negligence in wildfire occurrences across Pakistan’s peri-urban and rural regions. Increasingly frequent severe wildfires, driven by climate change, conditions, negligence, have become a pressing issue. Rising global temperatures changing precipitation patterns created drier while unsafe activities—such as improper disposal flammable materials agricultural burning—further escalate risks. These issues are particularly pronounced Pakistan, where high poverty levels, limited resources, low education contribute dangerous behaviors. Weak governance poor policy enforcement further exacerbate problem. Data were collected using cross-sectional survey from 500 participants five Multiple regression analysis revealed that higher levels significantly increased whereas improved access resources reduced it. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) highlighted critical roles local governance, enforcement, community engagement mitigating wildfires. Correlation indicated an inverse relationship between risk awareness negligent behavior. Chi-square tests demonstrated strong connection wildfires migration patterns, underscoring instability caused these events. Abstract The Urban Productive Safety Net Program is one of Africa’s most ambitious social protection initiatives, and it has achieved measurable successes. However, existing literature focusing on the role programs in improving people’s lives, especially ensuring food security income diversification, gives more focus to rural areas depends data from individuals beyond those directly targeted by program. Hence, this study examines beneficiaries’ perceptions program’s contribution livelihood diversification South Ethiopia Regional State. used a mixed research approach that included questionnaire, interviews, observation, group discussions. To select 310 survey household heads, multistage sampling procedure was employed. We analyzed quantitative using SPSS version 27, while qualitative through narration summarization. findings indicate selection process for beneficiaries, activities performed public work groups, beneficiaries graduating with reliable sources are generally positive, whereas negative assumptions exist regarding adequacy timeliness cash transfers overall living status residents. Therefore, program managers zonal-level team leaders should collaborate closely engage monitor support system, raise awareness.
