This
research
investigates
the
effects
of
land
use/land
cover
(LULC)
and
demographical
changes
on
runoff
erosion
processes
in
watersheds
border
highlands
Serbia.

interdisciplinary
approach,
linking
demography
(human

(hydrology
geomorphology).

The
inner
core
of
Sombor,
known
as
“Venac”,
is
probably
the
best-preserved
one
among
medium-sized
cities
in
Serbia.

historic
cores

shrinking
towns.

it
represents
a

dispersed
throughout
fabric,
fitting
perfectly
into
Venac.

population

urban

However,

growing
