During the execution of road infrastructure projects, project managers face significant challenges, including financial, technical, regulatory, and operational risks. More than 90% projects have incurred costs exceeding initial estimates, impacting both completion timelines efficiency infrastructure. Effectively assessing managing these risks is crucial for improving outcomes ensuring sustainability investments. To address this study developed a hybrid model risk assessment management in projects. The quantifies across seven key categories: Design, External, Resource, Employer, Contractor, Engineer, Project, based on three primary input factors: Environment coefficient, Contractual Design coefficient. Initially, various machine learning models, linear regression, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Stacking Models, neural networks, were applied to assess predictions. However, due specific nature dataset, models did not achieve satisfactory predictive accuracy. As result, fuzzy logic systems (Mamdani Sugeno) employed, demonstrating superior performance modeling occurrence probabilities. Comparative analysis between two approaches revealed that Sugeno provided most accurate findings highlight benefits applying complex providing structured framework enhancing decision-making processes. This provides methodology accurately predicting safety, efficiency, long-term sustainability.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been widely adopted in the building sector. However, it is still an emerging topic road infrastructure projects despite its enormous potential to solve ongoing issues. While there have several recent studies on BIM implementation projects, a lack of research analyzing actual Uses as reported academic and technical documents. Considering this gap, paper presents systematic review complementary technologies projects. The method consisted composed five stages: (1) question formulation, (2) searching relevant documents, (3) document selection, (4) evidence collection, analysis, synthesis, (5) results report. A total 384 documents were collected, from which 134 reporting roads analyzed. This study two main contributions. First, 39 identified, are classified into nine categories: design, traffic soil aspects, safety, environmental issues, other engineering construction planning cost monitoring control. Second, set 26 adoption among most prevalent geographic information systems (GISs) laser scanning. serve basis for researchers learn about status propose future developments infrastructure.

Road infrastructure is a significant factor in the development of any country, affecting economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability. Large projects often face risks uncertainties, which can lead to delays, budget over-runs, an insufficient quality completed work. These issues undermine viability affect overall efficiency development. For these reasons, based on literature review project analysis, that increasing Contract Price (ICP) Extension Time (EoT) for construction are identified. Based results values ICP EoT were quantified. Also, probability occurrence each risk new was calculated. obtained results, model defined groups into clusters. Risks first cluster should have priority funding, preventive measures them. The this way greatly enhance management real-world conditions reduction time over-runs.

The problems of information isolation, inefficiency, and paper-based data archiving in traditional highway survey design methods are investigated this paper. A novel digital sandbox platform framework was developed to promote the efficiency route design, model integration, sharing. Under presented framework, an integrated application method for both Building Information Modeling (BIM) Geographic System (GIS) technologies designed by using Unreal Engine technology. Firstly, a base established integrating multi-disciplinary BIM GIS three-dimensional (3D) multi-scale scene data. On basis, technology visualization development, with visualization, traffic organization simulation analysis, 3D spatial component query, switching functions developed, which satisfies digitalization needs current planning design. Additionally, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) employed analyze impact on development modules, including five crucial factors: accuracy, representation, multi-source fusion, management capability, semantic representation. Finally, research results indicate that proposed provides users management, sharing, while reducing time 30%, total cost 12%, land occupancy rate 10%.

The AEC industry, including construction consulting, is experiencing digitalization through technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM), impacting firms’ business models. traditional hourly-based model does not align with shortened project timelines driven by digitalization, design automation, and product-based approaches. This study uses a case approach explores evaluates four selected alternative revenue models (freemium, subscription, out-come-based, performance-based) for value creation using digital tool developed the consulting firm. freemium enhances market reach but requires high conversion rate. subscription offers steady recurring supports client relationships. Out-come-based performance-based link payments to outcomes performance metrics, fostering efficiency competitive advantages. identified multiple target markets this emphasized importance of portfolio meet specific needs in era. Implementing aids return on investments avoids paradox. Construction firms must adeptly manage these models’ complexities address diverse leverage transformation opportunities.
