E-Wallet Payment Usage Among Young Consumers Using Technology Continuance Theory

Technological innovation has paved the way for widespread adoption of e-wallets in Malaysia. This trend been bolstered by government initiatives and incentives promoting cashless transactions. The study aims to contribute ongoing efforts encourage transactions move towards a society Malaysia beyond. collected data from 443 university students who had used payment analysis examined relationships between key constructs Technology Continuance Theory framework. results revealed that positive attitude significantly influences students' intention continue using them. Additionally, perceived usefulness emerged as crucial factor influencing attitudes overall satisfaction with e-wallets. However, did not find significant relationship ease use attitude, suggesting may be primary driver toward theoretical implications this deeper understanding e-wallet among younger generation higher learning institutions provide valuable insights industry players. practical offer guidance players shaping applications meet specific needs students, ultimately encouraging greater usage. Future research could explore additional variables employ longitudinal studies more comprehensive results.
