In the face of contemporary challenges, such as economic instability, environmental degradation, and urgent global warming crisis, imperative sustainability energy efficiency has reached unparalleled significance. Sustainability encompasses not only natural environment, but also extends to our immediate surroundings, including built structures communities they serve. Embracing this comprehensive perspective, we embarked on a mission conceive construct model house that harnesses state-of-the-art energy-efficient technologies. Our goal was seamlessly integrate these features meet objectives, mitigate threats. This embodies harmonious fusion indigenous resources, employing locally sourced stone traditional construction techniques. Through approach, achieved significant reductions in carbon emissions established framework for passive cooling heating systems. Moreover, design is intrinsically attuned its contextual preserving diverse tapestry regional architectural styles. This study stands testament potential innovative technology shaping sustainable future. The research employs multi-dimensional encompassing strategies with planning material selection, efficiency, life cycle assessment across set case studies. Building analysis conducted through application BIM (Ecotect), providing insights into how can adapt thrive various environments. Key findings underscore thermal performance, minimizing loads, reducing are pivotal aspects designating building both green efficient.

As urbanization and rapid industrialization accelerate, rural areas face increasing pressure on resources the environment, leading to challenges such as energy waste reduced comfort. Traditional village planning design methods are based economic benefits often lack consideration of climate adaptability. To address these issues, a comprehensive assessment building courtyard performance should be introduced early in traditional villages. This approach can better adapt buildings their climatic conditions. Introducing relevant indicators, outdoor comfort, indoor lighting, consumption, at initial stage is crucial. article employs performance-based multi-objective optimization algorithms machine learning techniques investigate workflow courtyards combinations. The goal enhance planners’ efficiency by integrating data-driven performance-driven methods. research results show that during phase, adjusting spatial morphology architectural parameters, significantly improved compared baseline model. Energy increased 32.3%, physiological equivalent temperature (PET) comfort time ratio winter was enhanced 8.3%, summer 3.8%. During classification prediction accuracy reach 83%, F1 score 0.81. In project validation it has also been proven different plans quickly verified. Compared base’s original status, solutions’ from 59.12 85.62. summary, this improves interaction between decisions evaluation conceptual planning, providing solid foundation for promoting subsequent solutions.

Limited material options and economic conditions significantly restrict the potential for energy efficiency improvements in rural houses China’s cold regions. It is worth exploring how to propose suitable energy-saving renovation plans regions under practical constraints. By using Grasshopper within Rhinoceros 8 software, an algorithm integrates selection, consumption calculations, analysis. The method efficiently generates thermal optimization schemes, providing insights into use, costs, payback periods. In a case study of typical house Daqing City, optimized scheme achieved over 70% savings compared traditional homes, with costs amounting less than 40% residents’ annual income 2-year period. This significant improvement highlights proposed enhancing viability renovations.

Waste-to-Energy (WtE) solutions offer a sustainable approach for managing waste in tourist facilities within the hospitality industry. This research explores integration of WtE technologies to convert generated by hotels, resorts, and other accommodations into usable energy. By implementing these solutions, establishments can reduce their environmental footprint, lower operational costs, contribute circular economy. The study examines various technologies, including anaerobic digestion, incineration, gasification, assessing feasibility, benefits, challenges. It also considers economic, environmental, social impacts adopting systems different types facilities. Through case studies comparative analysis, this aims provide actionable insights best practices managers seeking enhance sustainability. Ultimately, integrating sector play crucial role achieving greener tourism supporting global sustainability goals.
