ABSTRACT For the time being, there is limited research focused on open innovation approaches that promote development and growth of stakeholder‐driven circular economy models. This article addresses this knowledge gap. Its objectives are threefold: Firstly, it describes key elements value cocreation. Secondly, utilizes findings from a comprehensive systematic review to identify opportunities challenges related paradigm. Thirdly, presents theoretical implications an action plan, alongside future avenues, highlight importance engaging in collaborative behaviors with stakeholders. It emphasizes cocreation culture encourages sharing resources, competencies, capabilities, while safeguarding organizations' intellectual properties. Such practices aim foster coupled support strategies like resource recovery, reverse logistics, industrial symbiosis, among others. Unlike many other articles, contribution clearly specifies scope for practitioners develop ecosystems increase practitioners' bottom lines, reducing their environmental impacts.

This study introduces a novel approach for predicting the mechanical properties of 3D-printed polylactic acid wood composites using gene expression programming (GEP) and artificial neural networks (ANN) modeling methods. Addressing challenge determining optimal process parameters in fused deposition natural fiber composites, experiments were designed Taguchi’s L27 orthogonal array. Five key analyzed: layer thickness (100–300 μm), printing speed (40–90 mm/s), raster angle (0°–90°), infill density (35%–95%), nozzle temperature (200–220 °C). ANOVA results identified as most influential factor, contributing 38.36% 26% to tensile compressive strengths, respectively. Subsequently, comparative statistical analysis evaluated predictive accuracy GEP ANN. The model exhibited superior performance, achieving validation errors between 0.04% 0.82%, outperforming ANN (0.34%–5.31%). These findings provide robust framework enhancing performance sustainable enabling more efficient reliable production processes additive manufacturing.

Artificial intelligence methods and techniques creatively support the processes of developing improving for selecting shredders processing polymer materials. This allows to optimize fulfillment selection criteria, which may include not only indicators related shredding efficiency recyclate quality but also energy consumption. The aim this paper is select analysis based on artificial (AI) with independent rule extraction, i.e., data-based (machine learning-ML). study took into account real data sets (feature matrix 1982 rows × 40 columns) describing process, including consumption used parameters shredder. Each records in a .csv file vector) has numbers divided by commas. were learning set (70% data), testing (20% validation (10% data). Cross-validation showed that best model was LbfgsLogisticRegressionOva (0.9333). promotes development basis an intelligent methodology high level innovation recycling materials within Industry 4.0 paradigm.
