This study aims to assess the knowledge of geology and sustainability among 14- 15-year-old secondary school students in Spain evaluate effectiveness active experiential methodologies improving academic performance these subjects. Involving 132 students, we used pre-test post-test questionnaires for data collection, with both control experimental groups. Our findings showed that integrating Earth history, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), public speaking enhances scientific literacy by fostering problem-solving interdisciplinary understanding. The highlights importance methods, revealing a preference approaches over traditional methods students; however, when results are analyzed independently topic, similar obtained teaching methodologies. Therefore, holistic flexible approach not only meets requirements modern curricula but also helps address complex global challenges.

Numerous studies have demonstrated that empathy and compassion are significant predictors of pro-environmental sustainable behaviors. Nevertheless, these do not clarify how the relationship between consequent pro-social behavior develops. How can feeling emotion nature’s suffering move activate behaviors support environment? This study aimed to verify whether self-compassion could act as a mediator in with nature compassion, which turn is associated A serial mediation model was analyzed on sample N = 1213 individuals. The results showed women had higher levels nature, uncompassionate toward themselves, than males. Furthermore, confirmed, demonstrating our initial hypotheses were supported. Self-compassion served partial mediators Additionally, we observed direct effects both findings suggest fostering through targeted interventions may enhance individuals’ behaviors, especially by leveraging their empathetic connection nature. Clinicians educators integrate training into programs at promoting environmental sustainability.

Immersive technologies from the spectrum of Industry 4.0, such as Virtual Reality (VR), are increasingly used in research and safety analysis industrial intralogistics systems, including distribution warehouses production plants. Safety systems is influenced by design management processes, human behavior, device performance. In all these areas, VR can serve a supportive technology for visualization, testing, employee training. However, this requires development principles integrating into standard procedures design, modernization, systems. This article discusses use to analyze occupational functional It reviews literature implementations aimed at examining improving The explores integration authors present five-dimensional decision space assessing VR, identifying subjects analysis, threats hazards specific intralogistics, countermeasures threats, factors affecting safety, mechanisms which improve As subsequent step, discuss using universal simulation environments that support study enhance providing framework example based on FlexSim (2023 update 2) environment. Finally, addresses limitations technology, along with challenges future prospects context 4.0. concludes be an essential tool increasing future, albeit some reservations about certain features technology.
