In recent years, public health emergencies have severely disrupted city functions and endangered residents’ lives, enhancing the emergency response capacity, a crucial aspect of building resilient cities. Based on Wuhan Statistical Yearbook local economic social big data, this study constructed resilience assessment system that covers resistance, adaptability, resilience. Evaluate level each region analyze its spatiotemporal characteristics using entropy weight method, Theil index, natural breakpoint method. The central area exhibited higher levels, while peripheral areas showed lower resilience, owing to location advantage developmental disparities. obstacle degree model revealed scientific technological innovation, rescue capabilities, population size are primary weak links in urban capacity. these findings, aims provide policy recommendations improvement measures for multiple stakeholders, guide construction cities, enhance ability respond crises recovery speed, ensure well-being.

The rapid pace of urbanization and global climate change necessitates a thorough assessment urban ecological resilience to cultivate sustainable regional ecosystem development. Cities along the Yangtze River face an intensifying conflict between preservation socio-economic growth. Analyzing these centers is essential for achieving equilibrium in ecosystems. This study proposes “system process space” attribute analysis framework, taking into account development processes, structure, evolution stages. Utilizing data from 45 cities, we establish “Driver, Pressure, State, Impact, Response” (DPSIR) evaluation index system evaluate changes levels trends 2011 2022. Our findings indicate that: (1) cities increased 0.177 0.307 2022, progressing through three phases: construction, development, stable (2) At city level, exhibits uneven characteristics. Upstream display significant “stepped” pattern, midstream exhibit “Matthew effect”, downstream present pyramid-shaped pattern. While differences persist, overall polarization gradually decreasing, intercity connections are strengthening, there growing focus on coordinated (3) spatial distribution demonstrates both continuity evolution, generally forming “core-edge” clustered Based findings, recommend enhancing inter-city cooperation connectivity, addressing imbalances resilience, promoting high-quality tailored strategies each city.
