Context. The technology acceptance model (TAM) is a theoretical framework that consists of perceived usefulness (PUS), ease use (PEU), attitude toward using (ATT), behavioral intention to (USI), and actual system use. Here, posed by the smartphone in higher education (SHE) described such as student self-management (MNG), learning results (LRS), achievements perceptions (SFB), cost-benefits (VCB), expectations (EXP) help understand explain how students’ adoption could be better achieved. Nowadays, after COVID-19 pandemic, motivation (MTV) quality (SQY) are two factors reinforce TAM model. Problem. research confronts challenges from dynamic rapidly changing environments. post-COVID-19 era introduces uncertainties, potentially affecting TAM-SHE model's long-term sustainability. fluidity preferences technological advancements obstruct establishment universally applicable for education. This raises concerns about adaptability generalizability across diverse educational settings, emphasizing careful consideration evolving factors. Therefore, following question proposed: What SHE empirical an innovative tool? Purpose. aims explore students' (TAM), focusing on usefulness, use, attitude, intention, within context era, study considers crucial enhancing framework. Methodology. We determined steps: Step 1. A qualitative based Delphi Panel-Focus Group Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) determine questionnaire among three specialists: 1 information expert, professor, university related questioned items preliminary design. 2. literature review (ex-ante) proposal involved design will applied more than 523 Mexican students second semester 2023. 3. Once all data questionnaires had been collected were probed regarding Cronbach Alpha reliability. quantitative confirmatory factor analysis partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SMART PLS (4.0.9.8) was used probe convergent, discriminant, nomological validity final conceptual Theoretical practical findings. propose robust able predict their enhance Transdisciplinary sustainable innovation originality. utilization smartphones contributes development reducing disparities between different socioeconomic backgrounds. Additionally, mobile aligns Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG4, advancing Furthermore, it facilitates worldwide access education, promoting inclusive equitable environment Conclusions limitations.
