The concentrated and contiguous development of traditional Chinese villages is imminent, the realization their symbiotic coordinated has become both a priority challenge. Taking 370 in Western Hunan as research object, GIS spatial analysis method was used to identify extract sources Hunan, construct traffic resistance surfaces, corridors nodes based on circuit theory, optimize network Hunan. results show that composed 47 village sources, 77 corridors, 68 key nodes, which are northwest southeast showing spider-like structure. distribution shows characteristics high north low middle, surface being south. Four corridor optimization principles five node restoration strategies proposed. This study provides new concept underlying, for, planning construction transport promoting centralized protection utilization regions assisting implementation rural revitalization strategy.

The conflict between economic development and ecological protection continues to intensify, highlighting the necessity for constructing regional security patterns (ESPs) reconcile relationship effectively. This study used GMOP PLUS model simulate future land use changes by 2030 under following three scenarios: natural (ND), (EP), (ED). Employing MSPA circuit theory, it identified source areas constructed ESP Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei urban agglomeration (BTH) from 2000 2030. results indicate that proportion of increased 22.24% in 23.09% 2020, EP scenario showing highest compared with other two scenarios. These are densely distributed northern western mountainous regions, sparse distributions southern plains. number corridors grew 603 616 having more than From 2030, were denser, shorter, variable, while those plains less dense, longer, relatively stable. Over decades, habitat species BTH increased, landscape connectivity decreased. Compared 2020 scenarios, saw an increase improved connectivity. impact on improvement primarily arose a combination socio-ecological drivers (e.g., elevation, slope, population), influence restoration key mainly stemmed factors temperature, NDVI, precipitation). findings demonstrate distinguishing different geomorphological units improve restore environment, considering drivers, is crucial restoring overall BTH.

REDD+ is a UN-backed framework aimed at reducing carbon emissions in developing countries through sustainable forest management and the protection enhancement of stocks. These are key goals for international community to achieve climate change mitigation forestry. programs deliver carbon, environmentally based, social benefits incentives provided local societies. This study focuses on quantitative assessment from perspective localized socio-economic shifts. The drivers–pressures–state–impact partial least squares–structural equation models were employed evaluate impacts multiple their influential factors tropical rainforests Xishuangbanna, China. results revealed that land-use changes form essential complex links between eco-environmental changes. Socio-economic shifts recent twenty years Xishuangbanna impacted mainly (impact coefficient = 0.909), which was nearly three times impact environmental degradation (0.322) more than twice its (0.363). Such unbalanced suggest need optimize policies contextualized measures way effectively addresses livelihood improvements, enhancing storage services targets

The ecological security pattern plays a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem health and ensuring security. establishment of the Mudanjiang City can provide scientific basis effective support for stabilizing environment, mitigating regional human–land conflicts, rational land- use planning. This paper utilizes theory constructing an using source-resistance plane-corridor node to grade importance source areas based on connectivity index. It combines morphological spatial analysis PLUS model generate identify present value 2022 City, as well predict eight land types seven landscape under three development scenarios by 2032. A transfer matrix transfer-intensity map are introduced explore structural characteristics transfer, while four fragmentation indexes combined with principal component coefficient variation method form comprehensive different classes. Finally, 2022, is developed that establishes logical connections between land-use structure, types, transformation mechanism, sources. results follows: (1) In 23 areas, 65 corridors, 66 nodes were extracted. overall shows “U” shape openings northeast. (2) cumulative weight economic social factors resistance surface reached 51.36%. (3) response degree forest primary tertiary was highly significant, R values reaching 0.9675 −0.8746, respectively. comparative study comprehensively showed best scenario sustainable future priority scenario, where area smallest proportion but strongest disturbance fluctuation becomes key affecting City.
