The energy sector’s long-term sustainability increasingly relies on widespread renewable generation. Shared storage embodies sharing economy principles within the industry. This approach allows facilities to monetize unused capacity by offering it users, generating additional revenue for providers, and supporting prosumers’ growth. However, high investment costs long payback periods often hinder development of battery storage. To address this challenge, we propose a shared framework. In framework, investor virtualizes physical equipment, enabling prosumers access services as though they owned batteries themselves. We adopt cooperative game incorporate into design phase systems. ensure fair distribution benefits, introduce benefit allocation mechanism based contributions sharing. Utilizing realistic data from three buildings, our simulations demonstrate that creates win–win situation all participants. It also enhances self-sufficiency self-consumption energy. paper provides valuable insights investors regarding optimal among multiple stakeholders.
