Purpose This study aims to investigate the digital entrepreneurial intentions of Albanian youth, identify obstacles they face in starting businesses and examine their preferences regarding types aspire establish. The Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) is used as a framework analyze these factors. Design/methodology/approach Primary data were collected via questionnaires distributed public private universities. In sample 325 students, Structural Equation Modeling with Confirmatory Factor Analysis, path analysis machine learning-based text used. Findings reveals significant impacts innovativeness, attitude towards entrepreneurship, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control self-efficacy on among students. Additionally, mining highlights strong preference for entrepreneurship. This study fills a crucial gap by offering fresh insights into healthcare entrepreneurs’ characteristics and decision-making, enriching the understanding of entrepreneurial behavior. Employing mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative quantitative data, researchers examined how factors such as age, gender, education, number children, marital status, house ownership influence business orientation. Utilizing both collected through surveys, statistical analyses, conducted in EViews 12, data drawn from 113 Romanian medical start-ups revealed that status was significant determinant, with single individuals exhibiting profit-centric while couples or married entrepreneurs prioritize patient well-being. Also, lower sense ownership, co-founders there start-up. The motivation involved more than two co-founders, is based on behind problem directly affected themselves. An unexpected result found regarding perceive failure due to lack funding competition, especially profit-focused ventures, shaping their decision-making.
