Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a suitable process to use manure for biogas production. During this process, antimicrobial resistant (AMR) bacteria are reduced. In study, we investigated the reduction of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing, fluoroquinolone-resistant, and total Escherichia (E.) coli concentrations in chicken during AD. AD was performed at 30 °C 37 (mesophilic temperature range), with without sawdust addition as lignocellulosic biomass. The initial E. were 6.43 log10CFU/g 7.84 log10CFU/g. concentration Fluoroquinolone-resistant approx. 6.05 (6.70%), ESBL-producing 5.48 (0.99%). AD, observed that had main influence on bacterial reduction, abundance below detection limit after day 7 14 °C. At higher amounts free ammonia, which an inhibitor process. carbon-to-nitrogen (C/N) ratio has important impact because C/N decreases amount generated ammonia nitrogen. However, did not observe significant difference AMR between natural (10:1) increased (25:1).

Agroforestry residues are a promising source of organic matter and energy. These wastes often poorly managed by incineration or open-air composting, resulting in the emission greenhouse gases. Solid-state anaerobic digestion has recently attracted considerable attention to converting waste with high total solids content, such as agroforestry residues, into renewable However, complex structure these is still defiance this technology. Their degradation requires long period, low heat mass transfer. In addition, process inhibited accumulation toxic compounds. An efficient management remained under development. Comprehending challenges faced when treating necessary create practical applications. This review provides essential information for more effective agricultural forestry using SS-AD process. It covers different parameters experiments that have successfully energy production. Various solutions been identified overcome drawbacks encountered. include co-digestion, which brings together better sustainability, strategies used improve production from at levels, involving pretreatments appropriate operational reactor designs.

Sewage sludge was treated with nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI) to enhance biogas and methane (CH4) production, the influence of key parameters on material’s anaerobic digestion (AD) efficiency analyzed using sigmoidal mathematical models. In this study, three dosages nZVI (0.5%, 1.5% 3%) were added system accelerate decomposition process. The results showed that cumulative yield after 41 days increased by 23.9% in reactor a dosage 1.5%.
