Traditional evaluation methods primarily focus on cost, quality, delivery performance but often fail to incorporate sustainability risk factors effectively. This study proposes an improved AHP-FMEA method that integrates Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), entropy weight method, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) enhance decision-making in selection. AHP determines subjective criteria weights, while adjusts these weights objectively reduce bias. FMEA approach incorporates assessment by identifying quantifying potential failures, ensuring more comprehensive evaluation. A case is conducted validate proposed model, comparing it with classical AHP-Entropy methods. results show incorporating significantly influences ranking, demonstrating model’s ability provide scientific, objective, risk-conscious enhances accuracy reliability of selection, making valuable tool supply chain management.
