China, like many other countries around the world, faces a rapidly aging population. “Aging in place” is most popular choice for older people with more than 90% of urban living same residential areas they did middle age. Nighttime outdoor activity (NOA) among elderly and has positive impact on both their physical mental health. However, conditions nighttime places old gated communities often do not meet needs elderly, there are problems such as low lighting poor accessibility. This study focuses typical large city analyzes data three dimensions independent variables: places, built environment communities, attributes residents themselves. Taking “satisfaction NOAs”, “the biggest environmental problem “locations that need improved lighting” dependent variables, we used machine learning to calculate contributions various influencing factors variables. It was found important influence satisfaction NOA environments levels, or residents’ being less important.
