Purpose This study aims to identify and understand the quality of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) final-year students who began their studies with an online learning approach during COVID-19 pandemic in internship programmes. It examines development these interns’ terms technical skills, analytical attitudes ethics from perspective industry supervisors. Design/methodology/approach A questionnaire survey was employed, 280 supervisors USIM undergoing programs 2024 participated this study. Findings The findings reveal that view interns as having high levels ethics, despite limited industrial engagement exposure due lockdown pandemic.
