This study examines the role of business accelerators in fostering startup performance across diverse entrepreneurial ecosystems, focusing on Romania, United States, and Italy. Using a cross-country comparative approach, this research investigates how influence grant utilization efficiency, financial management capabilities, sustainable practices, income growth diversification. The findings reveal that significantly enhance startups’ resource revenue growth, with variations target countries. In address structural barriers constraints, while they drive sector-specific innovations within mature ecosystem. Italy highlights blend traditional emerging industries, sustainability initiatives innovation. introduces practices capabilities as mediating factors, developing existing theoretical models. Business model innovation represents a critical pathway for firms to create value and enhance competitiveness, yet processes are frequently constrained by resource limitations. To explore the determinants of business innovation, we developed theoretical framework examining influence mechanism bricolage on introducing digital transformation as mediating variable entrepreneurship moderating variable. We conducted an empirical study surveying 263 entrepreneurs across China. Using Model 59 in PROCESS macro SPSS, performed conditional process analysis, revealing that both positively facilitates transformation. Furthermore, partially mediates relationship between while moderates relationships among bricolage, transformation, with higher levels demonstrating stronger effects. Our findings suggest organizations pursuing must consider integrated effects multiple factors within systems perspective.
