This systematic literature review studies student entrepreneurial competence and its impact on sustainable development in the context of higher education China. The objectives this study are to identify key factors affecting competence, recent research trends, role development. Using PRISMA model, relevant from 2016 2025 was screened databases such as Scopus, Web Science, ScienceDirect, a total 11 empirical peer-reviewed journals were analyzed. results show that competitions, entrepreneurship education, experiential learning, interdisciplinarity, policies, teachers, curricula, environment, morals all influence competence. In addition, reveals promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically innovation, creating employment opportunities, enhancing college students’ sense social responsibility. systematically identifies core affect Chinese universities provides practical suggestions for optimizing improving entrepreneurship. theoretical basis policymakers university administrators proposes strategies can be used reference, providing experience other emerging Asian economies learn from, thereby expanding global academic discussion education.
