This study evaluated the resilience of five major Chinese ports—Shanghai, Tsingtao, Shenzhen, Xiamen, and Qinzhou—against impacts tropical cyclones. These ports, as integral global maritime supply chain nodes, face rising vulnerabilities from climate-related disruptions such typhoons, sea-level rise, extreme temperature fluctuations. Employing a assessment framework, this integrated climate operational data to gauge how cyclone-induced events affect port performance, infrastructure, economic stability. Multi-centrality analysis Borda count method were applied assess each port’s strategic importance efficiency under cyclone exposure. The findings highlight variations in across with Shanghai Tsingtao showing heightened risk due their critical roles within international logistics networks. suggests strategies like strengthening improving emergency responses, adopting climate-resilient policies make China’s ports more sustainable resilient threats. research offers actionable insights for policymakers authorities, contributing framework.
