Climate change, a critical global challenge, is evident in rising temperatures, shifting precipitation trends, and extreme weather events, including floods, heatwaves, sea levels. The impacts of climate change not only endanger physical health but also affect mental well-being, particularly among populations experiencing frequent or severe climate-related events. Understanding individual perceptions risks adaptive capacities crucial for developing strategies that promote resilience environmental protection. This paper examines how risk perceptions, direct experiences with weather, perceived influence protection measures support relevant policies. Data were gathered from 291 respondents the United Arab Emirates using structured questionnaires. data analyzed descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Cronbach's alpha, Spearman correlation multiple regression analysis to determine key predictors policy support. results indicate age positively correlated (ρ = 0.16, p 0.001), while gender plays role, women showing greater perception stronger than men. In contrast, formal education employment status do significantly impact endorsement adaptation behaviors. These findings suggest awareness-based interventions alone may be insufficient drive action. Instead, policies should leverage older individuals' experiences, enhance workplace community-based engagement, prioritize hands-on, action-oriented bridge gap between knowledge behavior.

ABSTRACT This study explores the complex and often overlooked connection between climate change mental health, specifically examining how this relationship manifests across different income groups (high, middle, low) from 1990 to 2020. A fixed‐effects model is used analyze impact of two key indicators—annual surface temperature changes (TEMP) greenhouse gas emissions—on a range health outcomes, including disorders (MD), anxiety (AD), depressive (DD), bipolar disorder (BD), schizophrenia (S). The findings reveal statistically significant association rising temperatures, increased emissions, declining outcomes. While negative effects on well‐being are observed all countries, disproportionate impacts groups, suggesting that some populations significantly more vulnerable than others. underscores urgency implementing comprehensive equitable measures mitigate protect globally.
