This study investigated the monthly variations of bacterial communities in surface seawater Wenzhou coastal area and their influencing factors, while exploring ecological functions microbial communities. The results indicated that this region exhibited high diversity, with significantly higher diversity observed winter half-year compared to summer half-year. community structures showed distinct variations, similarity between adjacent months, particularly from June September. dominant taxa primarily included Proteobacteria represented by SAR86 clade, OM43 Rhodobacteraceae; Bacteroidota Flavobacteriaceae; Cyanobacteria mainly composed Cyanobium PCC-6307 Synechococcus CC9902. Temperature nitrate ions were identified as environmental factors most strongly correlated dissolved oxygen, nitrite ions, total organic carbon also significant correlations relative abundances certain taxa. Predictions community’s revealed chemoheterotrophic abundant throughout year, whereas photoautotrophic enriched summer. Denitrification other nitrogen cycling-related displayed obvious variations. Collectively, provides valuable insights into temporal changes interactions different environments.
