The article presents the results of a study on ecological situation in Ulyanovsk Oblast, using cartographic approach. This method allowed us to visualize spatial distribution various environmental indicators across region, four maps. maps illustrate expenditures protection measures, number stationary sources atmospheric pollution, as well emissions both solid and gaseous pollutants. By analyzing these maps, we identified key trends patterns indicators. It was found that Dimitrovgrad cities, due their large industrial facilities, devote most resources protection. Other districts region also have enterprises impact environment, though with lower investments initiatives. study's findings reveal disparity pollution throughout Oblast region. Most issues seem be concentrated areas higher development levels. However, even areas, some territories relatively favorable situation. implies measures reduce negative industry environment could more effective than previously thought.
