The continuous provision of nitrogen (N) to the crop is critical for optimal cotton production; however, constant and excessive application synthetic fertilizers causes adverse impacts on soil, plants, animals, human health. current study focused short-term effects (one-year study) adding different rates clinoptilolite zeolite, as part an integrated nutrient management plan, inorganic N fertilizer improve soil performance in three locations (ATH, MES, KAR) Greece. Each experiment was set up according a split-plot design with replications, main plots (zeolite at 0, 5, 7.5 t ha−1), four sub-plots (N fertilization regimes 100, 150, 200 kg ha−1). results this indicated that increasing examined factors increased yields (seed yield, lint percentage), greatest yield recorded under highest zeolite (7.5 ha−1: 1808, 1723, 1847 ha−1 ATH, KAR, respectively) (200 1804, 1768, 1911 respectively). From evaluated parameters, most parameters (soil organic matter, total nitrogen, porosity), root shoot development (root length density, plant height, leaf area index, dry weight), fiber maturity traits (micronaire, maturity, strength, elongation), (upper half mean length, uniformity short index), well color (reflectance spinning consistency index) trash (trash grade), were positively impacted by factors. In conclusion, present research suggest ha−1, respectively, improved properties (except weight diameter), stimulated development, enhanced grown clay-loam soils Mediterranean region.
