Triazole pesticides are widely used throughout the world, but their abuse causes toxic effects in non-targeted organisms. In present study, cytotoxic effect of triazole ipconazole was evaluated porcine and ram spermatozoa. Ipconazole significantly reduced sperm viability, increased ROS levels, altered catalase SOD enzyme activity, caused alterations molecular mRNA expression structural biomarkers (PRM1, ODF2, AKAP4, THEG, SPACA3 CLGN) related to fertility males, as well overexpression BAX (cell death) ROMO1 (oxidative stress) mRNA. Our results indicate that fungicide is involved cellular, enzymatic alteration spermatozoa, possibly a factor development infertility male mammals.
