After a survey on polymer plasticization theories and conventional criteria to evaluate polymer-plasticizer compatibility through the solubility parameter, an attempt create polymer-plasticizers polarity scale solvatochromic dyes has been made. Since Reichardt’s ET(30) dye is insoluble in rubber hydrocarbon polymers like polyisoprene, polybutadiene styrene-butadiene copolymers not also useful for evaluation of hydrocarbons ester plasticizers, Nile Red was instead used extensively successfully this class compounds. A total 53 different compounds were evaluated with wherever possible ET(33) dye. very good correlation then found between E(NR) focusing diene rubbers their typical new esters plasticizers. Furthermore, shows reasonable parameter calculated according Van Krevelen method. Based above results, some conclusion made about plasticizers as well green plasticizer proposed

The objective of this work was to analyze the bisphenols’ and phthalates’ (PAEs) migration from meat packages (of sausages, Winnies, ham found in Mexican markets) a water simulant. determination these compounds realized by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) diode array detection (DAD) at wavelength 254 nm. mobile phase utilized mixture acetonitrile:H2O (70 : 30). Elution performed isocratically temperature 25°C flow rate 1 mL min−1. LOQs obtained for BPA, DEP, BADGE, DBP, BisDMA, DHP, DOP, PA µg mL−1 were 0.53, 2.09, 0.85, 1.45, 5.81, 1.03, 3.12, 29.6, respectively. Calibration curves exhibited an adequate coefficient all (R2 >0.999). Excellent accuracy precision measurements (% RSD) achieved. recovery study showed good applicability method (percentage 80% 106%). DOP concentrations samples exceeded simulant limits (SMLs) established European Union. contribution current investigation provide information related presence bisphenols PAEs package products, highlighting health risks associated with their exposure.

The presence of bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates (PAEs) as endocrine-disrupting chemicals in drinking water stored polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles leads to serious consideration regarding the possible impacts on human health. Hence, aim this study was evaluate occurrence migration PAEs (DNOP, DMP, DEP, DBP, BBP, DEHP) BPA from PET into immediately after production (control) storage at −18, 4, 25 40°C for 30, 60 90 days. main novelty investigate release hazardous contaminants under different conditions using method magnetic solid phase extraction Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry technique. results revealed that control samples contained 0.44 µg/L DEHP, levels other compounds were below detectable levels. positively correlated with temperature time storage. slight increase started 30 days freezing (−18°C). highest leaching found total amounting 0.18 5.75 µg/L, respectively. Among detected phthalate esters, DBP concentration lower than phthalates, measured range 0.76–0.96 whereas level related DEHP (0.44–3.44 µg/L) permissible limit established by US EPA. non-carcinogenic health risk assessment indicated HQ all target within safe limit. carcinogenic 1.37 × 10−6 kept 40°C. Therefore, long-term exposure through bottled consumption did not pose risks consumers.

Phthalate esters (PAEs), which are commonly used as plasticizers in food processing and packaging, common pollutants. Dietary intake is the primary route to human exposure PAEs. Data show that retail packaged cooked foods most likely be contaminated with PAEs, indicating preparation cooking processes may contribute migration transformation of PAEs food. In this review, we collected latest investigations on occurrence different categories, discussed mechanisms fate during cooking, summarized reduction measures Foods such water beverages, meat, condiments, baby linked PAE exposure. Many techniques procedures, including steaming, boiling, microwave heating, toasting, frying, responsible for occurrence, migration, foods. The transformation, influenced by a variety factors, process, packaging materials, physicochemical properties There several ways prevent or reduce food, selection safe proper methods, replacement
