Compared to other small mammals, shrews are understudied due their limited impact on agriculture, lower biomedical importance, and difficulty study. Based trapping data from 1975-2023, we investigated changes in Lithuanian (

Among pathogens associated with mammals, numerous viruses a direct transmission route impact human, domestic and wild species health. Host landscape factors affect viral infection dynamics of these viruses, along barriers to host dispersal gene exchange. However, studies show biases toward certain locations, hosts detected pathogens, regional variations in similar host-virus associations.
