Monkeypox (mpox) is an evolving infectious disease caused by the monkeypox virus (MPXV). On July 23, 2022, WHO declared recent mpox outbreaks a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC), which terminated on May 11, 2023. As 2023, 88,288 confirmed cases and 149 deaths have been reported from 112 countries territories. Currently, not PHEIC, as outbreak its impacts are nearly over. Nurses played significant roles during 2022 frontline workers.

Although human monkeypox infections had not been recorded in the Kurdistan region of Iraq as August 2023, rapid growth cases worldwide and detection neighboring Middle Eastern nations call for careful planning timely response measures. Educating empowering frontline healthcare workers (HCWs) so that they can act to curb spread are core elements primary prevention protecting public health. Therefore, this study aimed assess HCWs' knowledge attitudes about their willingness vaccinate against monkeypox. By employing a convenience sampling method, an online survey was disseminated via Google Forms between 1 November 2022 15 January 2023.
