BACKGROUND Exposure to information related mpox may be different perceptual processes in relation vaccination intent. OBJECTIVE This study examined the specific pathways by which exposure and influence intent through perceived risk of contracting among GBMSM Beijing Hong Kong. METHODS Data were obtained from a cross-sectional survey mpox-unvaccinated Kong (n=470) (n=519), conducted between November 2023 March 2024. Structural equation modeling was performed estimate direct indirect effects, multigroup structural used effect measure modification city. RESULTS positive significantly enhanced control increased intention via higher for following six months, particularly participants Conversely, negative threat perceptions, but did not consistently raise mpox. Differences notable, with those showing weaker associations mpox, despite levels number non-regular sex partners. CONCLUSIONS Positive boosts increasing where programs are accessible, as Tailored, stigma-free communication is crucial improving uptake, especially Mainland China, subsidized vaccines limited.

Vaccine hesitancy is a significant barrier to achieving high vaccination rates, particularly among men who have sex with (MSM), group at increased risk for Mpox. This study aimed develop and validate Mpox vaccine scale specifically tailored Chinese MSM, grounded in the protection motivation theory (PMT).

On May 1, 2024, the Republic of Korea lifted infectious disease crisis alert for mpox, almost two years after first case was reported. The Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) has led response, which included diagnosis, epidemiological investigations, treatment, vaccination. This article particularly reviews vaccination strategy implemented proposes suggestions enhancing future response efforts. Initially, KDCA recommended pre-exposure prophylaxis high-risk groups, later expanding to include broader demographics as domestic cases rose. By April a total 6,863 individuals had received their vaccine dose, with 3,875 completing second dose third-generation vaccines. Strategies improve responses addressing stigma, securing nationally representative safety data, conducting cost-benefit analyses. These measures will help ensure robust effective outbreaks.

An outbreak of monkeypox (Mpox) appeared suddenly and rapidly spread worldwide during 2022. Men who have sex with men (MSM) are at a high risk contracting Mpox compared to other cohorts. The present study examined the psychometric properties newly developed scale among MSM: Motors Vaccination Acceptance Scale (MoMVA) assessing cognitive components motivation receive an vaccination. In total, 389 MSM participated in online survey study. factor structures MoMVA were first using exploratory analysis. After determining structures, was further for: (i) internal consistency Cronbach's α; (ii) concurrent validity correlations perception intention vaccination; (iii) known-group by comparing scores between vaccinated those did not. results indicated that had two-factor structure (positive negative motors). acceptable (α = 0.793 0.914), (associated vaccination), (participants higher than not). good they can be used for vaccination MSM.
