Modern
education
faces

this
perspective,
we
envision
a
transformative
Metaverse
classroom
model,
Multi-layered
Immersive
Learning
Environment
(Meta-MILE)
address
these
critical
issues.
The
Meta-MILE
framework
integrates
essential
components
such
as
immersive
infrastructure,
interactions,
social
collaboration,
advanced
assessment
techniques
enhance
student
engagement
inclusivity.
By
leveraging
three-dimensional
(3D)
environments,
artificial
intelligence
(AI)-driven
personalization,
gamified
pathways,
scenario-based
evaluations,
model
offers
tailored
experiences
that
traditional
classrooms
often
struggle
achieve.
Acknowledging
potential
challenges
accessibility,
infrastructure
demands,
data
security,
study
proposed
practical
strategies
ensure
equitable
safe
interactions
within
Metaverse.
Empirical
findings
from
our
pilot
experiment
demonstrated
framework’s
effectiveness
improving
skill
acquisition,
with
broader
implications
for
educational
policy
competency-based,
experiential
approaches.
Looking
ahead,
advocate
ongoing
research
validate
long-term
outcomes
technological
advancements
make
more
accessible
secure.
Our
perspective
underscores
shaping
inclusive,
future-ready
environments
capable
meeting
diverse
needs
learners
worldwide.

Background:
Serious
games
(SGs)
are
primarily
aimed
at
promoting
learning,
skills
training,
and
rehabilitation.
Artificial
intelligence,
immersive
technologies,

metaverse,
neurotechnologies
promise
next
revolution
in
gaming.
Meta-skills
considered
“must-have”
for
thriving
era
of
rapid
change,
complexity,
innovation.
Μeta-skills
can
be
defined
as
a
set
higher-order
that
incorporate
metacognitive,
meta-emotional,
meta-motivational
attributes,
enabling
one
to
mindful,
self-motivated,
self-regulated,
flexible
different
circumstances.
Skillfulness,
more
specifically
meta-skills
development,
is
recognized
predictor
optimal
performance
along
with
mental
emotional
wellness.
Nevertheless,
there
still
limited
knowledge
about
effectiveness
integrating
cutting-edge
technologies
serious
games,
especially
field
training.
Objectives:
The
current
systematic
review
aims
collect
synthesize
evidence
concerning
advanced
gaming
development.
Methods:
Preferred
Reporting
Items
Systematic
Reviews
Meta-Analyses
(PRISMA)
methodology
was
employed
identify
experimental
studies
conducted
last
10
years.
Four
databases
were
employed:
Web
Science,
PubMed,
Scopus,
Google
Scholar.
Results:
Forty-nine

SGs
