Outdoor recreation has grown rapidly in recent years, with an increasing preference for areas good ecological condition. Since lakes represent some of the most important wetlands, providing a wide variety ecosystem services, they have become very popular destination. The present study aimed to assess water quality largest artificial lake Hungary (Kisköre Reservoir—Lake Tisza), and role status tourism development. Monthly sampling from basins (Tiszavalk, Poroszló, Sarud Abádszalók basins) took place April–November 2021 2022. majority samples river section are classified as Ca2+-HCO3− type or mixed Ca2+-Na+-HCO3− type. According results, each basin is considered excellent good. Rapid warming shallow was detected during summer months, resulting different hydrochemical characteristics (pH, NH4-N, NO2-N, NO3-N, PO4-P, CODcr BOI5) compared section. Differences plant nutrient oxygen balance component groups been revealed hierarchical two-step cluster analysis well. results demonstrated that properties lake’s substantially influenced by filling spring River Tisza significant lowering (1.2 m) level autumn year, allowing drainage stagnant water, removal accumulated sediments oxidation organic matter. number tourists on Lake increased over last decade, confirming range services attractive impact waterfront activities ecotourism.

Abstract Agriculture is an essential economic activity in Brazil. However, it also the main source of water quality degradation. Monitoring catchments with agricultural land use a way to generate information on scale identify causes and sources This work used monitoring data derived from hydrology surface underground intensive catchment Atlantic Forest biome. The Fortaleza River located western part Santa Catarina state southern Brazil has 62 km² drainage area. Hydrological was conducted for seven years at two fluviometric stations, three lysimeters, one meteorological station piezometer. Data precipitation, temperature, flow, runoff, drainage, were used. Statistical analyses developed. Precipitation between 2013 2019 presented homogeneous distribution monthly annual data, January July months highest lowest values, respectively. difference average Q95 flows found upstream downstream sections. In terms quality, statistical differences identified ammonium, nitrate potassium concentrations, which had higher concentrations lysimeter indicating direct influence quality. Principal component analysis (PCA) indicated that (i) positive relationship Component 1 magnesium-calcium, sulphate-chloride acetate-bromide groups negative phosphate-nitrate; (ii) occurred 2 phosphate-chloride sulphate-nitrate ammonium-lithium calcium-potassium-magnesium; (iii) piezometer, relationships chloride-sodium phosphate-nitrite pairs, while calcium-magnesium.

Water scarcity is a growing problem in many regions. Therefore, intelligent management of the available water needed. Aside from using mains directly households and farms, hydrophores are often used for local system creation. tanks filled with when mains, then extracted hydrophore. Wells also as alternative sources. Filling tank manually requires human presence can lead to overflow. It better if hydrophore protected by switching it on or off depending level measured, current, pressure its balloon. This paper presents designed address these issues. The utilizes various sensors monitor levels, pressure, current. Microcontrollers analyze sensor data control valves based user-defined parameters. offers remote monitoring capabilities be configured different source scenarios (tanks vs. wells). was successfully implemented real-world settings, including factory. benefits include protection, autonomous management, valuable well recovery rates operation cycles.
