The complexity of aquifers poses a challenge for fully comprehending the impact climate change on groundwater. In this study, we employed suite hydrological and statistical methods, including water table fluctuation (WTF) method, wavelet analysis, Hurst exponent, temporal trend to assess groundwater storage (GWS) changes their correlation with precipitation in Alabama, located southeastern United States. These approaches were used evaluate variability GWS as derived from well data large-scale model estimates that incorporated satellite observations. results unveiled nuanced regionally variable relationship between over past two decades. While Mann–Kendall test did not reveal any statistically significant overarching trends changes, Sen’s slope analysis indicated subtle regional variations, minor decline −0.2 mm/year southern Alabama modest increases 0.5 0.38 western northern regions, respectively, 2000–2021. Wavelet coherence showed co-variation cycles ranging 8 32 months, suggesting potential cyclic or intermittent influences. Furthermore, detected strong persistence within system using indicating substantial memory impact. findings are useful developing effective management strategies changing climate.

Underground coal mining of gas-bearing seams is accompanied by the emission large amounts methane, which increases with depth. Coal seam methane not only a major cause accidents in mines, but also greenhouse gas that has significant negative impact on Earth’s atmosphere. Analysis efficiency underground suggests as depth increases, productivity longwall decreases factor 3–5 or more, while specific volume emitted manifold and management decreases. Effective can be achieved monitoring its content at key points system workings. Monitoring eliminates risk explosions, lets us assess effectiveness using techniques their parameters to improve reduce cost (including drainage) for ensuring sustainable mining. The aim this article develop software hardware complex mine creating simulation model methane. Arduino Uno board sensor MQ-4 were used purpose. In article, causes emissions control systems, structure system, risks occurrence mines are considered.
