Subsurface pipe drainage (SPD) is an important technique for the improvement of saline–alkali lands in China. Winter irrigation after crop harvest a key measure used Yellow River area northwest China to reduce soil salinity root zone crops. To optimize winter under SPD, calibrated HYDRUS-2D model was utilized this study investigate effects texture (clay loam, silt and sandy loam), initial (1, 3, 5 g/kg), quotas (80, 100, 120, 150, 180 mm) on rate desalination. In study, levels during stable production common crops such as sunflower corn Yinbei Irrigation District Ningxia, China, were taken thresholds, efficient utilization water considered, suitable appropriate different textures proposed. Soil with salt content 1~3 g/kg planting 80 mm water. Sandy loam 3~5 sunflower–corn intercropping 120 exceeding Other types soils need be improved by reducing spacing between subsurface pipes, using desulfurized gypsum, biochar, other additives. People engaged agriculture can utilize research determine volumes water, types, systems, parameters based local conditions.

To achieve the objective of high-quality development, an in-depth examination coupling coordination relationship between industrial green water and science technology (S&T) innovation is essential. This study takes Chinese 30 provincial regions as specific examples constructs improved three-stage SBM-DEA model entropy weight TOPSIS to assess efficiency level S&T during 2009–2021. Based on this, applied investigate degree innovation, well characteristics spatio-temporal distributions. Finally, we utilize a spatial autocorrelation reveal clustering two. The findings indicate that: (1) results evaluation show that development each province not balanced, performance eastern coastal region more prominent. (2) China's overall rising steadily moving from primary into good stage. Most provinces are in stages. Qinghai remains low stage throughout period. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong enter high (3) distribution two systems shows pattern east west, with positive spillover effect adjacency. high-high area exhibits tendency shift towards central region. paper provides scientific basis for analyzing differences innovation.

Agricultural technological innovation optimizing agricultural practices making them more sustainable. To this end, study investigates the dynamic relationship between total-factor usage efficiency (TFAWUE) provinces from 2000 to 2020. utilizes Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Malmquist productivity index approach measure overall agriculture, known (TFAWUE). findings suggest that mean TFAWUE score 1.1356, surpassing a value 1. It illustrates witnessed growth 13.56 over period. Technological change primary determinant TFAWUE, technology (TC) higher than (EC). Subsequently, by employing rigorous econometrics series, provides valuable insights into intricate dynamics its impact on efficiency. constructs composite multidimensional development, encompassing various technologies pivotal sector. shows enable farmers implement conservation effectively enhance However, farm scale reduces usage. Rivers are critical to ecological and societal sustainability, yet human activities like urbanization, industrialization, agricultural runoff increasingly threaten their health. This study investigates the health of six major rivers in Dalian City, China, focusing on relationships between aquatic biological communities environmental factors. A total 168 phytoplankton species, 110 zooplankton 102 macrozoobenthos species were identified. The key factors influencing these included pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonium nitrogen, phosphorus, altitude. Using an entropy-weighted set pair analysis model, spatial variations river ecosystem evaluated. Monitoring sites S12 S15 exhibited good conditions, while S4, S8, S17 rated as poor (Grade IV), S7 was severely polluted V).
