In recent years, the marine economy has experienced rapid development, with increasing scale of exploration and utilization. Against this backdrop, importance resource carrying capacity (MRCC) for sustainable development become increasingly prominent. This paper reviews research progress on MRCC, exploring its connotations, characteristics, measurement methods, influencing factors. First, briefly introduces MRCC from perspectives connotation highlighting crucial role in both ecological protection. Second, it summarizes relevant methods viewpoints single-factor evaluation composite indicator assessment, analyzing advantages, disadvantages, appropriate application scenarios each method. Furthermore, analyzes significant impact human activities economic emphasizing that management strategies policies can effectively mitigate risk decline. Finally, suggests future should focus improving accuracy assessment models, identifying scope impacts caused by changes, utilizing policy financial tools to address challenges posed decline, aim achieving use resources promoting healthy economy.

Introduction As global resource demands and environmental challenges intensify, China's vast marine resources present a significant opportunity for sustainable economic development. This study investigates the impact of financial development on high-quality growth in economy across 11 coastal regions from 2011 to 2020. Methods We examine mediation moderation model linking quality China, where increasingly relies support. proposes innovation output industrial structure upgradation as mediators, with capital investment moderator. Results Our findings reveal that significantly promotes growth, albeit regional heterogeneity. The strongest effect is observed Eastern Marine Economic Zone, while Southern Zone shows weakest impact. scientific research upgrading serve key mediating factors, former demonstrating stronger intermediary effect. Notable, positively moderates relationship between growth. Discussion innovatively combines macro-finance micro-finance indicators construct comprehensive index system. It incorporates multi-dimensional approach measuring regions, challenging one-size-fits-all models by highlighting variations. By providing insights into specific differences underlying mechanisms, our offers valuable guidance policymakers crafting region-specific strategies leverage

Exploring the development laws of new quality productivity and leveraging its role in empowering marine economy high-quality (MEHQ) is great significance for promoting construction a maritime power China, achieving goals Chinese-style modernization solidifying country’s advantages economic development. This paper systematically reviews mechanisms effects (NQP) MEHQ. Using panel data from 17 cities along Bohai Sea 2010 to 2022, we comprehensively measure combined levels NQP Employing various statistical analysis methods, including benchmark regression models, multiple mediation effect spatial Durbin empirically test spillover The results indicate that has significant positive driving on MEHQ, this conclusion remains valid after series robustness tests. MEHQ mainly occurs through three pathways: technological innovation, optimization industrial structure, improvement resource allocation efficiency. There correlation between with agglomeration phenomena, reflecting non-uniform characteristics distribution. not only empowers but also exhibits effects, adjacent regions releasing growth dividends.

As the scale of marine economy continues to expand, problems environmental pollution and over-exploitation resources have become increasingly severe. The purpose this study is realize sustainable growth economy, rational utilization resources, coordinated development protection. Method: This research first adopts system dynamics (SD) model. It then uses entropy method weigh evaluation indicators create a coupling coordination degree (CCD) assessment simulation economic–resource–ecological environment. We use created SD model build simulate four standard scenarios: current, economic, resource, environmental. Finally, we propose suitable recommendations for long-term based on results CCD Results: Results show following: (1) In immediate term, economic scenario poorly coordinated, whereas more effectively coordinated. However, in process, resource reasonably well (2) Priority attention must be given improving energy mix protecting natural environment promote economy. (3) To achieve virtuous cycle between protection, governments, businesses, all sectors society need work together formulate implement relevant policies initiatives.
