The life cycle assessment methodology is a comprehensive environmental impact evaluation approach rooted in the "cradle-to-grave" concept. This study takes municipal solid waste incineration power plant central China as an example to comprehensively explore potential ecological and impacts of generation through methods. Burning one ton can recover 7342 joules thermal energy. Compared with traditional landfill, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 30%, global warming -0.69 kg carbon dioxide equivalent. Amongst impacts, land, freshwater, marine ecosystems possess greatest toxicity, followed harmful effects on human health influence ozone-producing photochemical pollution. Lastly, there comes terrestrial acidification, whereas other types be relatively disregarded comparison. In process generation, warming, ionizing radiation, fossil resource scarcity are less than zero, indicating that this environmentally friendly process. response above-mentioned it necessary pay attention improving efficiency, optimizing leachate treatment, reducing coal use, controlling acidic urban generation. research offers insights into advancing sustainable technologies for utilizing energy resource.
