African immunization programs are crucial in reducing the prevalence of infectious diseases and improving public health outcomes. This review provides an overview current status efforts Africa, highlights key challenges, offers recommendations to help continent achieve 2030 Global Immunization Goals. While progress has been made, significant challenges remain. For instance, WHO Region reports full coverage at 56.5%, partial 35.1%, zero 8.4%. Between 2019 2021, approximately 67 million children Africa did not receive routine vaccinations, with West Central particularly affected. DTP1 remained stable 80%, but DTP3 saw a slight drop 72% between 2021 2022. As 2022, MCV1 reached 69%, reflecting ongoing against measles. Key barriers vaccination include limited parental education, religious beliefs, inadequate healthcare systems, vaccine hesitancy. Addressing these requires community-driven approaches like door-to-door campaigns mobile clinics. To reach targets, systems must be strengthened, supply chains optimized, financial resources-both domestic international-expanded. The Agenda (IA2030) emphasizes data-driven decision-making, nation-ownership, tailored strategies overcome obstacles raise among several demographic groups. This has evolved into transformative learning journey. paper aims present lessons learned. Results From April 2020 February 2024, 287 virtual sessions were conducted over 125,816 attendances from 173 countries and regions. marked significant increase compared pre-pandemic face-to-face training, which targeted fewer than 2,000 participants annually. Survey responses ( n = 43,221) indicated high relevance applicability, 97% of respondents planning use information in their work 89% finding very or extremely relevant. Self-reported knowledge levels increased 28 74% post-session. Discussion Integrating digital AFRO's education training toolkit facilitated immediate emergency enhanced long-term resilience, adaptability, equity among healthcare workers, especially under-resourced reached more professionals in-person facilitating equitable access essential best practices.
