Myrtus communis L, is an edible medicinal plant with fruit berries used to manufacture liquors, aromatise wine, and sweet foods, beside several folk-medicinal uses. The also endemic Libya, holds promise for its properties, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, wound healing, appetising effects. This work aims explore the phytoconstituents present in seeds peels of L by GC-MS LC-ESI-MS analysis, respectively. demonstrated vitro silico antioxidant anti-tyrosinase activities extracts. analysis indicated presence 11 fatty acids myrtle representing 78.61% total seeds' acid contents, where unsaturated linolenic (C18:3) was major (23.11%). Moreover, seven anthocyanins were identified relative percentage 59.84% related peaks area positive ion mode chromatogram. Abstract Introduction The generation of biofilms by bacteria has become a major factor in the rise antibiotic resistance. Lipid nano-capsules (LNCs) have recently emerged as an innovative platform for drug delivery, due to their unique properties and ability carry wide array therapeutic chemical compounds. Objectives objective this research was create, optimize, evaluate antibiofilm efficacy peppermint oil emulsion (o/w) containing levofloxacin against resistant via biofilm formation. Methods Essential oils, particularly known its antifungal properties, were employed instead traditional medium chain triglycerides formulate lipid nanocarriers, utilizing alternating surfactant types (Solutol HS 15 Cremophor EL) differing ratios (2:1 1:1). LFX-LNCs formula, with 2:1 ratio, selected further investigation physical including particle size, zeta potential, transmission electron microscopy, polydispersity index. antibacterial efficiency evaluated, revealing eradicate established Gram-negative pathogens, Escherichia coli (E. coli) Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa), well Gram-positive strains such Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). Results mean size varied from 30.86 ± 0.54 nm 68.36 0.56 nm, demonstrating narrow distribution, negative potential (-1.56 0.24 -20.2 2.15 mV), index (PDI) ranging 0.062 0.006 0.26 0.002. nanocapsules generally exhibit spherical morphology within nanometric range when analyzed microscopy (TEM). antimicrobial activity assessment revealed that EL exhibited most significant efficacy, characterized reduced inhibition zone measuring up (2.43 cm), promising results several pathogenic strains, P. , S.
