The research presented in the article is dedicated to analysis of transformation territorial-industrial structure revenue Russian IT sector 2019–2022. Based on data from “SPARK-Interfax” system, dynamics enterprises industry examined context its key industries—software development and activities field information technology. also considered computer, electronic optical products manufacturing industry, which does not belong collective grouping but part communications technology (ICT) sector. calculations carried out, a general trend towards an increase concentration economic potential Federation largest centers, have most favorable conditions for development, has been identified. As study, classification regions Russia specialized with contribution more than 0.5 % total 2022 proposed, territorial groups are their features described. In relation companies Russia, Herfindahl-Hirschman index was calculated, reflecting level (monopolization) Russia.
