Objectives Although physical therapy services are a part of the Essential Package Health Services in Pakistan, they do not receive their due importance. This qualitative study aimed to explore in-depth insights regarding factors that influence provision public sector hospitals Karachi, Pakistan using WHO’s health systems framework. Design Exploratory study. Setting and participants Three located were selected for this In-depth interviews conducted with total 12 therapists working outpatient departments hospitals. Results Findings categorised into six major themes within framework, shedding light on various influencing quality care provided patients. These encompass issues such as inappropriate facility infrastructure, limited staff availability competency, challenges equipment adequacy functionality, insufficient financial support, low incentivisation absence regulatory council. Conclusion The findings exhibited constrained by at Pakistan. Improvement is recommended levels increase adequate staffing, provide necessary ensure its functionality. development council need time address above solutions.
