This study explored the effect of melatonin implantation on fresh and cryopreserved semen quality Iraqi buffalo bulls (Bubalus bubalis). Nine adult were used divided equally into three groups. The first group was left without treatment regarded as control (T1), whereas second (T2) third (T3) groups subcutaneously implanted with 72 90 mg respectively ear base repeated one month post implantation. Semen collected for 12 weeks evaluated weekly fresh, cooling, post-cryopreserved (PC) protocols. T3 exhibited a higher (P≤0.05) sperm cell individual motility percentage, whereas, T1 T2 recorded better acrosome integrity percentage semen. A lesser total abnormality (TSA) in greater (SAI) noticed during cooling preservation. Moreover, TSA revealed leaser SAI PC period. Concomitantly, lower malondialdehyde concentration seminal plasma observed than group. In conclusion, (72 mg) ameliorated some attributes bulls.

Abstract An experiment was carried out to explore the regression coefficients (RC) of semen characteristics on seminal proteins buffalo bulls. SDS-PAGE resolved proteins. A life sperm (LS) percentage exhibited a negative and significant RC PF1 (111.5 ± 18.0 kDa), PF4 (36.13 3.33 PF5 (28. 88 3.26 kDa) proteins, namely -0.13, -0.63 -0.69 % / kDa respectively. acrosome integrity (SAI) pronounced PF2 (87.63 16.5 -0.13 -0.14 kDa, noticed in SAI (-0.61 (-0.60 positive shown for total abnormalities (TSA) (0.02 kDa). In conclusion, some attributes had These provide us with good tool early predicting bull’s fertility reduce economic losses male infertility enhance developmental sustainability production Iraq.

This study investigated the synergistic effect of glass wool and sephadex sperm filtration techniques on improving low semen quality buffalo bulls with or without antioxidants. Semen was collected for 14 weeks, evaluated weekly, divided into 12 groups. Good have extended using a Tris extender. is three groups [S1: extender; S2: + vitamins E (2 mM) C (5 mM); S3: glutamine (20 arginine (1 mM)]. Low main subdivided sub-groups (S4; S5: +vitamins S6: mM)). In 2nd 3rd groups, are used adding (E+C) amino acids (Glutamine arginine) each technique, referred to as S7–S9 S10–S12 techniques. Improving (P<0.01) motility, normal morphology, acrosome, plasma membrane integrity reducing total abnormalities were noticed post-cryopreservation. conclusion, technique removed immotile sperm, dead, abnormal, good harvested by this which in turn may reflect positively pregnancy rate.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between concentration of some fatty acids in seminal plasma and semen characteristics Holstein bulls with different sperm freezabilities. The straws that cryopreserved for two years were divided into three groups according sperm’s freezability: medium (MF,73.02%), good (GF,83.76%), high (HF,91.20%). cell individual motility (SCIM) fresh superior (P≤0.05) MF GF as compared HF bulls. Concomitantly, significantly those total acid concentrations. Moreover, recorded lesser DNA damage percentage differences among concentrations SCIM at 48 hours post-cryopreservation lacked significance. In conclusion, greater bull's lowest freezability, which indicated more sensitivity freezing conditions may reflect fertilizing ability these

Abstract A study investigated the effect of sil-select and swim-down sperm selection protocols on enhancing bad semen attributes buffalo bulls with or without antioxidants. Semen was evaluated weekly (14 weeks) divided into 12 groups. Good (GSQ) (BSQ) were diluted using a Tris diluent. The GSQ three groups [CS1: diluent; CS5: Tris+ vitamins E (2 mmol) C (5 mmol); CS6: +glutamine (20mmol) arginine (1mmol)]. BSQ sub-groups (CS2: CS7: +vitamins C; CS8: glutamine arginine). In 3rd 4th main groups, Sil-Select (CS3) (CS4) techniques used adding antioxidants subdivided sub-groups, referred to as CS9-CS10 for method CS11-CS12 swim-down. Improving normal morphology (NM), acrosome, plasma membrane integrity lesser abnormalities (SAB) noticed in fresh CS3 than CS2 CS3, CS4, CS9-CS12 recorded higher NM lower SAB other post-cryopreservation. two removed harvested good sperm, which may improve pregnancy rate agricultural sustainability systems.
