Background: There is a notable lack of empirical validation regarding the use internet-based emotion-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (IECBT) for counseling pregnant women. Objectives: This study examines feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness IECBT in women with suspected fetal anomalies. Methods: In quasi-experimental study, 130 diagnosed anxiety disorders were randomly assigned to either spousal participation (65 participants) or alone participants). All participants completed three pregnancy-specific stress questionnaires—the NuPDQ, Spielberger State Anxiety Inventory, Edinburgh Depression Scale—both before immediately after intervention. Results: Within-group analyses indicated that both methods, without involvement, led significant reductions stress, depression, symptoms by end intervention (P < 0.001).
