Purpose
The
study
aims
to
assess
the
awareness,
perception
and
adoption
of
artificial
intelligence
(AI)
in
Bangladesh’s
healthcare
sector.
Design/methodology/approach
This
utilizes
a
quantitative
methodology.
A
survey
with
structured
questionnaire
was
conducted
sample
399
professionals
public
members
through
stratified
random
sampling.
Descriptive
statistics
summarized
participant
demographics,
while
inferential
statistical
techniques,
including
regression
analysis,
examined
relationships
between
AI
readiness
adoption.
Findings
Using
conceptual
framework,
explored
factors
influencing
measurement
model
confirmed
reliability
validity,
strong
factor
loadings
discriminant
validity.
Structural
analysis
revealed
that
social
media
influence
(SMI)
technological
awareness
(TA)
significantly
enhanced
for
(RAI)
(path
coefficients:
0.354
0.162,
respectively).
Perceived
risk
(PR)
had
weaker
positive
effect
(0.123),
perceived
susceptibility
(PS)
personal
innovativeness
(PI)
were
insignificant.
Mediation
showed
RAI
mediated
effects
TA
PR
on
adaptation
(AAI).
Research
limitations/implications
suggests
policymakers
develop
robust
regulatory
frameworks
address
privacy
concerns,
enhance
trust
implement
educational
initiatives
improve
literacy
among
stakeholders
