Chlorogenic acid (CGA) is a natural polyphenol found in coffee, tea, vegetables, and fruits. It exhibits strong antioxidant activity possesses several other biological properties, including anti-inflammatory effects, antimicrobial activity, insulin-sensitizing properties. Moreover, it may improve lipid glucose metabolism. This review summarizes the available information on therapeutic effect of CGA metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). As literature search engine, browsers PubMed, Scopus, Web Science databases, ClinicalTrials.gov register were used. Animal trials clinical studies suggest that has promising potential treating MASLD hepatic steatosis. Its mechanisms action include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic effects via activation Nrf2 signaling pathway inhibition TLR4/NF-κB cascade. Furthermore, alleviation by also involves important molecules such as AMPK physiological processes intestinal barrier gut microbiota. Nevertheless, specific target cell key molecule to which directed remain unidentified require further study.

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is defined by the abnormal lipid deposition in hepatocytes. The prevalence of MASLD significantly increased elderly population, suggesting that aging may be related to occurrence MASLD. Emerging evidences suggest vitamin D receptor (VDR) implicated progression Therefore, additional researches are warranted elucidate whether VDR plays a role aging-related To investigate relationship between and explore mechanisms Cellular senescence models were established, phenotype telomerase RNA component knockout mice was validated. Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) represents a chronic disease. The development of MASLD is influenced by multitude diseases associated with modern lifestyles, including but not limited to diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and obesity. These conditions are often consequences the adoption unhealthy habits, namely sedentary lifestyle, lack physical activity, poor dietary choices excessive alcohol consumption. treatment primarily based on modifying patient's lifestyle pharmacological intervention. Despite absence FDA-approved agents for MASLD, several potential therapeutic modalities have demonstrated efficacy in reversing histopathological features Among botanical ingredients belonging flavonoid group quercetin (QE). QE has been possess number beneficial physiological effects, anti-inflammatory, anticancer antifungal properties. Additionally, it functions as natural antioxidant. Preclinical evidence indicates that may play role reducing damage improving metabolic health. Early human studies also suggest be an effective due its antioxidant, lipid-regulating This review aims summarize available information effects MASLD.

Background/Objectives: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is increasingly recognized in inflammatory bowel (IBD) patients due to chronic inflammation and metabolic disturbances. However, reliable non-invasive biomarkers for MASLD prediction this population are lacking. This study evaluated the predictive value of scores lipid ratios onset IBD patients. Methods: An observational retrospective was conducted on 358 at “Renato Dulbecco” Teaching Hospital Catanzaro, Italy, a period between 1 January 2021 31 December 2024. Clinical laboratory data, including ratios, were analyzed using chi-square Kruskal–Wallis tests as appropriate. Post hoc comparisons Dunn’s test. Receiver operating characteristic analysis assessed their accuracy MASLD. p < 0.05 considered significant. Results: IBD-MASLD had significantly higher body mass index (BMI, 27 ± 4 vs. 22 2 kg/m2; 0.001), waist circumference (100 11 85 cm; other anthropometric parameters, scores, than IBD-only The score insulin resistance [METS-IR, area under curve (AUC = 0.754)] 0.754) exhibited highest accuracy, followed by accumulation product (LAP, AUC 0.737), BMI 0.709), triglyceride/high-density lipoprotein (TG/HDL, 0.701). Insulin homeostasis model assessment 0.680) triglyceride-glucose 0.674), moderate use. visceral adiposity 0.664) low-density lipoprotein/high-density 0.656) showed lower discriminative ability, while fibrosis-4 0.562) weakest diagnostic performance. Conclusions: Our findings suggest that primarily driven cardiometabolic dysfunction. introduction METS-IR, LAP, TG/HDL into clinical assessments could prove useful preventing cardiovascular complications setting.

Abstract Regular exercise is believed to suppress cancer progression. However, the precise molecular mechanisms by which prevents development remain unclear. In this study, using a steatosis‐associated liver mouse model, we found that regular at speed of 18 m/min for 20 min daily suppressed development. To explore underlying mechanisms, examined gene expression profiles in livers and non‐exercise groups. The expressions circadian genes, such as Per1 Cry2, were upregulated group. As rhythm disruption known cause various diseases, including cancer, improving through could contribute prevention.
