Despite the increasing influx of tourists to Arctic and growing body scientific research on tourism in region, existing studies fail provide a comprehensive understanding patterns shaping development systems Russian Arctic. This study seeks identify spatial dynamics system formation key factors influencing their development. The methodology employs hierarchical cluster analysis classify Russia, followed by ranking identified typological groups. incorporates municipal-level indicators that assess potential infrastructure, transport logistical accessibility, as well climatic environmental conditions. study’s novelty lies its extensive use data evaluate across findings reveal considerable disparities potential, levels, perceptions opportunities.
