Abstract Hyperspectral image cubes are information rich, typically containing hundreds of wavelengths and millions spatial pixels. To condense this into a more interpretable form, it is common to parameterize certain aspects the spectra that known represent compositions interest. Parameterizations spectral features called parameters . Spectral can be combined thematically red, green, blue (RGB) images, browse products , visualize compositional variation across surface. Here, we present Parameter (HyPyRameter) toolbox: an open-source library, written in Python, calculate for hyperspectral reflectance data. With HyPyRameter toolbox, user from point or cubes. Users take advantage native built easily customize library parameter formulas with built-in functions suit needs specific investigation. run Jupyter notebooks provided on GitHub repo ( https://github.com/Michael-S-Phillips/HyPyRameter ). flexible tool, installable via Anaconda https://anaconda.org/michael--s--phillips/hypyrameter ), potential wide-ranging applications diverse fields including, but not limited to, planetary science, geology, agriculture, mineral resource exploration.
