ABSTRACT
Glioblastoma
(GBM)
is
the
most
common
malignant
primary
brain
tumor,
with
a
mean
survival
of
less
than
2
years.
Unique
structures
and
microenvironment,
including
blood−brain
barriers,
put
great
challenges
on
clinical
drug
development.
Sophoricoside
(Sop),
an
isoflavone
glycoside
isolated
from
seeds
Sophora
japonica
L.,
one
active
constituents
traditional
Chinese
medicine
found
to
inhibit
bioactivity
cytokines
(e.g.,
interleukin‐5)
inflammatory
responses,
as
well
attenuate
glucose
lipid
metabolism
in
related
diseases.
However,
effects
Sop
cancer
progression
have
not
been
systemically
investigated.
In
this
study,
we
performed
comprehensive
investigation
Sop's
function
GBM
using
colony
formation
Transwell
assays
vitro,
along
subcutaneous
xenograft
tumor
analysis
vivo.
We
employed
RNA
sequencing
bioinformatics
conjunction
Western
blotting
(WB)
reverse
transcription‐quantitative
polymerase
chain
reaction
(RT‐PCR)

mechanism.

results
demonstrated

proliferation
metastasis

kinase

Chronic
obstructive
