Background: The human digestive system contains approximately 100 trillion bacteria. gut microbiota is an emerging field of research that associated with specific biological processes in many diseases, including cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, brain rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer. Emerging evidence indicates the affects response to anticancer therapies by modulating host immune system. Recent studies have explained a high correlation between breast cancer: dysbiosis cancer may regulate systemic inflammatory response, hormone metabolism, tumor microenvironment. Some bacteria are related estrogen which increase or decrease risk changing number hormones. Further, has been seen modulate respect its ability protect against treat cancers, focus on receptor-positive Probiotics other claiming control microbiome bacterial means might be useful prevention, even treatment, Conclusions: present review underlines various aspects clinical application, warranting individualized microbiome-modulated therapeutic approaches treatment.

Polyphenols have been shown to be utilized as an effective treatment for cancer by acting a DNMT or HDAC inhibitor, reducing inflammatory processes, and causing cell cycle arrest. While there many studies demonstrating the anti-cancerous potential of individual polyphenols, are limited on combinatorial effects polyphenols. This review focuses how combinations different polyphenols can used chemotherapeutic option patients. Specifically, we examine three commonly polyphenols: curcumin, resveratrol, epigallocatechin gallate. These induce apoptosis, prevent colony formation migration, increase tumor suppression, reduce viability angiogenesis, create several epigenetic modifications. In addition, these were synergistic additive. Thus, findings suggest that using at appropriate concentrations better more efficacious against compared individually.

BNT162b2 immunogenicity wanes with time and we investigated association between gut microbiota longer-term immunogenicity. This cohort study prospectively recruited adult two-dose recipients from three vaccination centers in Hong Kong. Blood samples were collected at baseline day 180 after first dose, tested for neutralizing antibodies (NAb) against receptor-binding domain (RBD) of wild type SARS-CoV-2 virus using chemiluminescence immunoassay. Shotgun DNA metagenomic sequencing was performed to characterize stool microbiome. Baseline metabolites measured by gas liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS LC-MS/MS). Primary outcome persistent high NAb response (defined as top 25% level) 180. Putative bacterial species metabolic pathways identified linear discriminant analysis [LDA] effect size analysis. Multivariable logistic regression adjusting clinical factors used derive adjusted odds ratio (aOR) metabolites. Of 242 subjects (median age: 50.2 years [IQR:42.5-55.6]; male:85 [35.1%]), 61 (25.2%) high-responders while 33 (13.6%) extreme-high responders NAb≥200AU/mL). None had COVID-19 end study. Ruminococcus bicirculans (log10LDA score=3.65), Parasutterella excrementihominis (score=2.82) Streptococcus salivarius (score=2.31) enriched high-responders, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron low-responders (score=-3.70). On multivariable analysis, (R. bicirculans-aOR: 1.87, 95% CI: 1.02-3.51; P. excrementihominis-aOR: 2.2, 1.18-4.18; S. salivarius-aOR: 2.09, 1.13-3.94) but not associated response. Northeastern Thai ethnic foods are celebrated for their health benefits yet remain largely underexplored. This study assessed the antioxidant and cytotoxic properties of two ready-to-eat pastes-Jaew Hon (JH) Gang Om (GO)-produced using laboratory (LAB) industrial original equipment manufacturer (OEM) methods. Evaluations were conducted 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), ferric reducing power (FRAP), total phenolic content (TPC), flavonoid (TFC) assays alongside 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay cytotoxicity. Physicochemical analyses revealed that JH OEM had highest dissolved solids (11.57°Brix) water activity (0.91), while GO exhibited pH (5.28) lightness (L* 31.43). Antioxidant results showed LAB outperformed in DPPH scavenging (96.25 mg AAE/100 g) TPC (433.5 GAE/100 g), whereas achieved TFC (345.57 QE/100 g). Volatile compound profiling by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) indicated distinct aroma profiles between samples. Moreover, MTT stronger effects products; specifically, 71.88% maximum inhibition an IC50 276.10 µg/mL against HT-29 cells. Colony formation confirmed OEM's significant antiproliferative activity, gene expression analysis demonstrated upregulation pro-apoptotic markers (Bax, Caspase-3) downregulation NF-κB p65, Cyclin D1, MMP-9. Overall, these findings suggest industrially produced pastes hold promise as functional foods, integrating traditional culinary practices with modern production techniques. These lay foundation future research focused on uncovering bioactive mechanisms, optimizing processing methods, confirming through vivo studies.
