Abstract Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a heterogeneous disease, having diversity in symptom, polysomnography parameter, etc. Studies have found that apnea–hypopnea index as single measure cannot reflect its heterogeneity. More personalized diagnostic criteria and treatment measures are needed. But there different kinds of results with races regions. It essential to consider the characteristics local population when formulating individual plan. There significant discrepancies between Chinese White race terms morphologic features, daily habits, religious beliefs so on. However, research based on still suffers from scarcity. This review sums up recent progress studies OSA provide useful references for related future.

One of the main management strategies China’s nature reserve is “zonation”, dividing reserves into three zones (core, buffer, and experimental zones) to which different levels restrictions on anthropogenic activities are applied. While zonation has a positive effect conservation target species, it unclear whether can be effective in conserving biodiversity. Using bird data collected from five national Guangdong province China during 2018–2019, we investigated how associated with diversity community composition. We considered species richness, community-weighted mean (CWM) values 10 single traits, beta based 2 dissimilarity indices (Jaccard Bray–Curtis). The overall effects zone were weak or insignificant. Species richness CWMs most traits not (p > 0.08). Reserve itself was strong factor influencing traits. Dissimilarity also showed variations composition between north region those south region, largely contributed by turnover component ≥ 0.06 for nestedness p ≤ 0.03 both indices). dominance indicates that these could equally important maintain regional diversity, requiring multiple-site plan. Our study suggests current zoning designations may as traits; however, caution needed due limitations our design, such potential observer insufficient sampling effort.
